Background
Ronald Wong is a designer from Hong Kong who has worked at Mattel since 2014, first as an intern and then as a full-time Product Designer. Today he is Lead Product Designer for the Hot Wheels Premium line. His projects include mainline, Monster Trucks, RLC, Premium 1:64 and 1:43, Elite 64, Hot Wheels Skate and playsets.
He is cited as prioritizing track performance and designing many high-end sports and exotic cars, as well as larger-scale vehicles and track sets. Outside Mattel, he photographs Hong Kong's car culture and collects Hot Wheels and other larger-scale models.
