Dmitriy Shakhmatov
Background
Dmitriy Shakhmatov is design manager of Hot Wheels' die-cast line. According to a 2018 interview, he started at the brand about four and a half years earlier (around 2013–2014), brought in by a friend who was already a designer at the company for a Star Wars line project. The most prominent work cited in the interview is a full-size X-Wing displayed at Comic-Con 2016.
