Alton Takeyasu, Felipe Massa
Background
Alton Takeyasu — Alton Takeyasu has worked at Mattel since 1991 and, before that, was a designer at Kenner Toys. Today he mainly designs character cars (Character Cars) in the Star Wars and Marvel lines and several action figure lines, and is also responsible for licensed entertainment properties and Mattel's own properties.
He has taught at the Otis College of Art and Design since 2003 and was inducted into the Model Car Hall of Fame in 2019.
Felipe Massa — Not a member of Hot Wheels' design team. Felipe Massa is a Brazilian driver: he competed in 15 Formula 1 seasons between 2002 and 2017 (with a break in 2003), for Sauber, Ferrari and Williams, and was world runner-up in 2008. He then spent two years in Formula E, with Venturi, and now races in the Stock Car Pro Series. The Hot Wheels Wiki lists him among the brand's guests and associates with him the car 'Eagle Massa' (2012 New Models series), in collaboration with designer Alton Takeyasu.
